Brentford // April 2 - 9

After three months of teachings and working with the surrounding area in London, our sports and media DTS team headed off on a 2 month journey to bring God's joy, hope and love to nations. Our first stop was in Brentford, a little town outside of London, England. We arrived at Brentford Free Church and were greeted by the pastor. During our time in Brentford we took part in different Easter services, helping with worship, giving testimonies and performing dramas. Our team also went out into town evangelizing in various ways; face painting, playing football in the park, leading a service at an elderly folks home, and talking to people on the street.

One of the highlights of the week was on Easter Sunday evening. Our team hosted a night with the teens from the church to watch the Passion of the Christ film. The movie was so impactful on each and every person and the worship and prayer that followed was indescribable- totally Holy Spirit led.

We saw a huge miracle before leaving for Munich Here's the story.
"As the DTS team planned to leave for the next outreach location, I had plans to return to the YWAM base in order to raise the remainder of the money needed to go on outreach. Needless to say, God had alternate and way more exciting plans. Before leaving, the team prayed for me and for a miracle. And a miracle is exactly what we got! Through faithful and generous people I went from just another day going back home, to speeding to the airport with a backpack and some essentials to buy a ticket to Munich, Germany!"
